International English Olympiad (2009) is a unique Olympiad stressing on importance of English in in academics, in day to day life and its relevance in today's GlobalWorld

It will focus on general English, its comprehension, Grammar & writing skills. The questions will be easy & interactive kind which the student will enjoy solving.

Questions based on proper English learning, writing skills etc. will be asked such as what common errors the students make. How to write correct English? How to be grammatically correct? How to write letters? What is punctuation, spellings and phonics? How to learn english by expressions and sounds?

ELIGIBILITY

Students studying in classes 1 to 12 in English medium schools affiliated with CBSE/ICSE/IB/CIE and state board can participate.

One mark is allotted for each right answer. There is no negative marking. In case of a tie, following preference with respect to the marking will be followed : First, English questions, then Interactive questions. In case the tie-up persists other parameters including telecalling will be followed.The student roll number will be as given in the attendance sheet. No admit cards will be issued.There is no level 2. The school result will be despatched to the school in 6-8 weeks. Fill the IEO registration form (School & Student) and send to EHF by last date of registration.
